The annual Hong Kong Fung Scholars Pre-Departure Gathering was held  on June 9 at Fung Academy. It was attended by over 60 newly selected Fung Scholars and 29 returned Fung Scholars. The event aims to introduce the Victor and William Fung Foundation to the participants and welcome the new batch of Fung Scholars who will go on exchange in academic year 2018/19. The gathering was kicked off with the welcoming remarks by Mr. Kai-man WONG, Director of Victor and William Fung Foundation, followed by a speech by Ms. Ada WONG, Chairperson of Make A Difference Institute, on “Innovation with Global Vision”. Her sharing about how innovation can be applied in different countries were well received by the participants. During the last session of the gathering, the 29 returned Fung Scholars shared their exchange tips and experience with the participants. We wish each newly selected Fung Scholar a rewarding and fruitful exchange experience abroad.
