Date: 03/06/2022
Time: 9:00 pm - 9:30 pm

About the Event

Have you ever imagine how working in the polar region is like?

In our next session of the Sustainability series, our FS speaker, Wilson Cheung  (FS08/09, Hong Kong Baptist University), a Polar expedition leader is going to bring you travel around the polar region and even the outer space.

Wilson Cheung is the world’s first Chinese polar guide on front line of climate change. He was selected as one of the honorees of the “50 Explorers Changing the World” in 2022.
Wilson has been working at the North and South Poles for more than 10 years. After visiting every corner of the planet, Wilson may set foot on the moon as an official candidate for the PoSSUM Scientist – Astronaut programme and hoping to apply his knowledge of the polar regions and his findings of glacier activity to their mission to the moon.

In this session, Wilson will share his extraordinary life in the polar region and his polar and space research.
