About the Event
Mindfulness, a concept that become more and more omnipresent from science to daily life, from college to business world, from the ancient Eastern religion to the modern Western world. You probably have heard of its wide range of benefits on physical and mental well-being. How can mindfulness equip us with the gear to surf in the new era of unknown, so we won’t be drown by the endless unexpected changes?
In this experiential workshop, Connie Ho (FS09/10, The Chinese University of Hong Kong) will share about what mindfulness is and its scientific evidence. We will also have a taste of some mindfulness practice together and know more about the resources that may support our day-to-day hassles.

About Connie Ho:
Connie is the founder of HealThySelf, with the passion and vision to promote mindfulness and mental wellbeing to the community. She is a Registered Clinical Psychologist in Hong Kong [RCP (HKPS, HKICP)] and the United Kingdom Chartered Psychologist [CPsychol (BPS)]. She is also a seasoned mindfulness practitioner and a qualified mindfulness teacher trained at Oxford Mindfulness Centre and Brown University. She has extensive clinical experience in public hospitals, Department of Health and non-governmental organizations, specializing in treating various mental disorders such as depression and anxiety, as well as different kinds of life challenges and childhood trauma. Currently along with her private practice, she is also a guest lecturer in local university. With a strong faith in the life transformational power that resides in every single person, it is Connie’s life mission to walk side-by-side with people she encounter, to awaken and unleash this internal power to the fullness in order to assist everyone to approach to a wholesome and flourishing life.
